Beth Brown, formerly of bands Pinkwood Flat, Lesthan Stellar, The Chimes, & DayStar, started experimenting and the world of Ivy Sky was born. Heavily influenced by the likes of Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Cat Power, Lisa Germano, Beth Orton, Elliott Smith and Nick Drake, Ivy Sky offers a confessional and intimate glimpse into a haunting and ethereal world of memorable melodies and poppy hooks. Though focusing on tv/film opportunities, Ivy Sky can occasionally be seen in cozy listening room venues...sometimes playing barebone versions of her tunes...sometimes joined by friends.
