Wednesday November 11, 2009 from 11:30am - 1:00pm
ADP Pleasanton

Pleasanton, California 94588 Get Directions
With many of Northern California's skilled positions held by foreign national employees and stricter government immigration rules on the rise, HR's job has grown increasingly complex.

Find out how to manage the immigration function with increased enforcement and in an economic downturn. Get tips on staying compliant in this new era of immigration and look at your company's options and responsibility when employment factors change. You'll be able to:

* Explain the impact on nonimmigrant status and managing compliance in LCAs and H-1Bs
* Describe how the economic environment impacts the permanent residence process
* Analyze PERM audits and supervised recruitment

We'll also discuss alternative actions and options in the immigration landscape and strategies for keeping your company compliant and avoiding litigation.
