Hemmens Auditorium
downtown
Elgin, IL, Illinois 60120 Get Directions
With it?s signature horn riff and famous opening line, ?I?m the friendly stranger in the black sedan??, The Ides of March?s ?Vehicle? burst onto the Billboard charts and became the fastest breaking single in Warner Brothers history. The Ides of March features all the original members including Jim Peterik. The show spans 3 decades of music and includes Peterik?s catalog of Top 40 hits.

With a two minute recording called "Kind of a Drag," in 1966, five teenagers from Chicago's west side, found themselves propelled into the national spotlight as the single swiftly climbed to the #1 spot on national music charts. Through the years, The Buckinghams have evolved to remain one of today's most popular acts. The appeal of The Buckinghams' music and the consistently high level of performance have earned the band rave reviews and a loyal following throughout the country.
