In this workshop, you will get the chance to learn about the symfony
framework for PHP. After a brief introduction to the symfony
framework and the MVC pattern, you will create a application to show
your "lifestream" from RSS feeds. After this, you'll get the chance
to ask any questions you have about Symfony.

You are expected to have a reasonable understanding of programming. You will find the workshop significantly more useful if you are able to bring a laptop with a working PHP 5.2/Apache/mysql environment, as it is expected that you will code along during the workshop.
