The Scotty Reed Band, formerly Urban Blues Xperiment / UBX, has been steadily performing throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin since its inception in 1992. Bandleader, vocalist and harmonica player Scotty Reed relocated from Chicago to the Minneapolis area in 1980. His backing band consists of several combinations of veteran Twin Cities-based blues musicians. They specialize in traditional electric Chicago blues, West Coast Swing; jump and original blues including harmonica and upright bass.
