Venture Center and National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) will soon host a unique event in Pune to showcase NCL's competencies and related technologies - specifically those related to Polymer Sciences. We invite entrepreneurs, MSMEs, corporations & technology commercialization professionals to identify specific opportunities for taking these technologies to market.



Date: Friday, November 13 2009, 9am - 5pm

Venue: Venture Center, NCL Innovation Park



The focus for this event - the first in a series of such events to come - is on super-absorbent polymers, membranes, microspheres/microcapsules and silicones. Following an introduction to NCL Innovations & Venture Center, we will share examples of commercial applications for each of these technologies. Over lunch, attendees will get an opportunity to interact with some of the scientists behind these technologies.



The afternoon will be focused on explaining the technology commercialization process, how technology transfer/licensing works at NCL, and insights into various sources of funding for entrepreneurs who wish to commercialize these technologies.
