Kinoull Hill an option for those so inclined pre meet 8:45am or decide amoung yourselves those who are going.
I'm adapting a self guided walk for flickr time: we don't have to stick together but having the route will help folks catch up if they have a rough idea where we will be especially those who want to escape to warm cafe's en route.
Meet 10:45am - 11:15am North Insch: Parklands Hotel end.
Wander round the Insch: City side out: black watch museum (not open but fine building) other buildings, river side back.
Then Rose Terrace: Old Street, Athol Crescent to Fairmaids house, then Curfew Row, to Highcross building (if not baltic a return there for night shots may be in order) then Mill Street.
Scott Street and South Methven to the tourist info : old linin mill , head to the tower Wynd House go under then to high street and the sculpture Nae day sae dark
It should be about 12.30 by then and we will forage for dinner return to the sculpture for 2pm.
right Edward Street , left St John's Place. and St John's Kirk , if want wander to the salutation, hotel lots of stuff on the front very ornate building.
back up to edward street onto south street follow walkway to canal street should come to tay street and south insch more sculpture and the ferguson round building
if manage all that by 3pm and light still good and not freezing cross the river at the bridge with plots and golf underneath and follow the sculpture tail heading towards north insch keep close to river cross over to north insch. if freezing at 3pm nearest pub is in order.
route should end by 4.30pm and should have returned us to the bridge side of the north insch and a pub.
