Detroit natives David Weiss (David Was) and Don Fagenson (Don Was), formed Was (Not Was) in 1980. The group features vocals by former O'Jays singer Harry Bowens and Sweet Pea Atkinson among others. Their hits include 'Spy in the House of Love' and 'Walk the Dinosaur.' A new two CD compilation of the group is set for release on Shout! Factory.
