The Ecology Center presents Bill McKibben

Bill McKibben is one of America's most important writers on business, culture and the environment. He is the author of ten books, including his latest: Deep Economy: The Wealth of Communities and the Durable Future. He is also the organizer behind the 2007 Step It Up campaign - the largest demonstration to date in America about climate change. Following the success of Step It Up, Bill McKibben formed the organization 350.org devoted to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis. Three weeks before the Ecology Center's event is the International Day of Climate Action; four weeks afterward is the Copenhagen Climate Summit. Come join the movement to stop global warming! Nicola's Books will be on hand with copies of his books, including his latest, Deep Economy.
