Chestnut Hill College will host a Fair Trade and Alternative Gift Giving event on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 from Noon to 4 p.m. in the Music Corridor, first floor of St. Joseph's Hall, on the College campus at 9601 Germantown Avenue. This event, in its fifth year at Chestnut Hill, enables the public to learn about fair trade, and sample food and purchase a variety of fair trade goods from different organizations in the local community. Come sample goods from fair trade vendors such as Infusion, 10,000 Villages, and Grace Gardener Market Day! There will also be fair trade items and raffles to benefit Chestnut Hill College’s service trip to Tanzania next summer.
