With a love of The Smiths, The Clash, The Jam, Oasis, System Of A Down and Queens Of The Stone Age, Sheffield's Arctic Monkeys embelish the spirit of those sounds without regurgitating the well-trodden Brit-rock path. On top of that the members spent their school days listening to Roots Manuva, Braintax and other stuff on Low-Life among other things. Arctic Monkeys released their first full-length, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not,' in 2006. Their latest is 'Favourite Worst Nightmare.'
