Character Development - Recent typographic prints from Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum

The Furlong Gallery of University of Wisconsin- Stout is proud to show 'Character Development - Recent typographic prints from Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum'.

"The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum is the only museum dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type. With 1.5 million pieces of wood type and more than 1,000 styles and sizes of patterns, Hamilton's collection is one of the premier wood type collections in the world." The exhibition is a collection of prints from current artists and designers using wood-type methods.

Opening Reception is Thursday, November 12th from 5-7 pm. This opening is free, open to the public and refreshments will be provided.

For a full extension the exhibition is showing from November 12th - December 4th.
