The North Coast Chorale begins its nineteenth season with its annual winter concert series entitled "Songs of the Angels". The chorale will be performing Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria and selected pieces from W.A. Mozart, plus other popular gospel pieces. Songs of the Angels will be on Saturday December 12, 7:00pm & Sunday December 13, 2:00pm at the Clatsop Community College Performing Arts Center in Astoria.

The North Coast Chorale is a community chorus of approximately 50 singers, both professional and amateur and range in age from 12 to mid 80's. The chorale is directed by the wonderful Dr. Denise Reed-Hinds. Denise has conducted the North Coast Chorale in the JS Bach 'Magnificat', Handel's Messiah, & Light In Winter-Saint Saens 'Christmas Oratorio' and other seasonal pieces, as well as a program of spirituals and gospel music. Other major works she has conducted are: the Rutter Magnificat, the Faure Requiem and the Vivaldi Gloria.
