World class guitarist and vocalist Sol performs a special one night only show at Castle Roxx with solid drummer Brent Hoskins (of reggae/ funk group the Seed).

Sol has toured all around the world with funk, R&B, roots, and blues legends and grew up gigging with bluesmen such as Guitar Gabriel, John Dee Holeman, and Cool John Ferguson. Sol's roots run deep into the blues but his unique versatility has allowed him to work with Latin, African, reggae, gospel, jazz, funk, R&B, and folk performers.

Sol's latest CD "FREEDOM" moves from GREASY DELTA GROOVES to DEEP REGGAE, and from STANKY FUNK to SOULFUL R&B and features King George (drummer for Corey Harris, Jah Works), Tim Smith (saxophonist for Squirrel Nut Zippers, Hobex), and other talented musicians.

Drummer Brent Hoskins has been the backbone of the VA reggae greats The Seed. With the Seed Brent and toured and laid down some of the deepest reggae and funk grooves in the Mid-Atlantic.
