Kol Truah - The Jewish Choir of the East Bay kicks off its 2009-2010 season with a benefit concert and sing along for Congregation Netivot Shalom-INTRODUCING: KOL TRUAH!
Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 4 PM the choir, directed by Cantor Pamela Sawyer, with accompanist Eleanor Cohen, professor emeritus of music at California State University East Bay will sing music from their repertoire, including songs in Hebrew, Ladino and English, and a very special arrangement of Hatikvah by Sanford Schneider, the founder of the original Kol Truah. All will be invited to join in a sing along of Israeli and Jewish folk music. Come and join us for our first concert in Berkeley.
