In the last YDN Tuesday of the year, Andrew "Bob" Brockhurst is going to show us some very cool Hardware Hacking

This is aimed at reasonably tech savvy users, but not just hackers and programmers, all levels of experience welcomed.

You will learn what is hardware hacking and how to get started voiding your warranties.
There will be an Introduction to the Arduino and microprocessors. Also some inputs, sensors and basic circuit theory, interacting with the physical world, project ideas and where to look for inspiration.

Bio

Andy Brockhurst, is more commonly know as Bob The Builder to all his work colleagues, the reason lost in the mists of time.

By day Bob is a hard hat wearing Backend Engineer for Yahoo! in London, who has most recently been working on the New Yahoo! Homepage, including building the Facebook App featured there.
By night Bob is currently fully occupied being a new dad, but hopes to soon return to hardware hacking, reverse engineering, homebrew beer making, robot building, circuit bending ...
