The Visual Arts Center’s 45th Craft + Design Show returns to the splendid rotunda of the Science Museum of Virginia and features 75 of the nation’s preeminent artists in a variety of media. Half of these artists are bringing their work to Richmond for the first time.
This venerable show consistently offers an exceptional level of quality – across all price points - and the chance to interact with the artists themselves. The show offers a balance of media with artists working in ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media and wood, and who come to Virginia’s capital from 17 states.
The Visual Arts Center is grateful to Dominion Resources, whose sponsorship allows the Craft + Design Show to bring Central Virginia high-quality, one-of-a-kind craft.
