“A Tuna Christmas” is the second in a series of comedic plays (preceded by Greater Tuna and followed by Red, White and Tuna and Tuna Does Vegas), each set the fictional town of Tuna, Texas. Tacky tree trimmings, gaudy garlands, and redneck ribbons festoon the town of Tuna, Texas. Home for the holidays takes on a whole new meaning in the Lone Star States third smallest town when the colorful denizens of Tuna compete in the annual lawn display contest. But beware the Christmas Phantom who is sabotaging the elaborate decorations!
The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers, Wade Livingston and Jim Whiteman, making this satire on life in rural America even more delightful as they depict all of the inhabitants of Tuna -- men, women, children and animals.
