The next DC Drupal meetup will be on Monday, November 16, at 7:00 pm at Stetson's Bar and Grill. We're breaking slightly from our standard format of 5 minute lightning talks this month, and instead will have two 10 minute presentations/demos:

* Dave Cole and Macon Phillips from the White House New Media Team will discuss the new WhiteHouse.gov platform.

* Alex Barth will demo the new Managing News, a fully open source news and data aggregator built on Drupal, and talk about some ways it's being used.

Also, we have a FREE ticket to next month's Do It With Drupal conference, a three day, multi-level Drupal training event put on by Lullabot, who are great Drupal trainers. To enter the raffle, RSVP with "diwd" in the comments at http://groups.drupal.org/node/34998 and come to the meetup. We'll print out the names of everyone who enters and pull a winner out of a hat at the meetup.
