*“RED FRIDAY” BLOOD DRIVE & VENDOR FAIR AT MAYNARDS MARKET
Friday November 27, 2009 from 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Maynards Market and Kitchen
400 N. Toole
Tucson, Arizona 85701 Get Directions
Maynards Market + Kitchen is putting a local spin on the traditional post-Thanksgiving shopping frenzy by hosting a vendor fair and blood drive on what they’ve dubbed “Red Friday,” November 27, from 12-5 pm, on the Maynards plaza.
To help encourage shoppers to always support local businesses, Maynards vendors will showcase their products and offer special pricing for the day. Presenting vendors include: Salsa Girl Salsa, Denize Designs Stained Glass Gifts, Made to Crave Granola, Adobe Rose Scone Mix, & RetroTrek Vintage Gifts, Tucson Tamale Company and Painted Cave Cattle Company among others. As part of the family friendly festivities, The Determined Luddites will provide live entertainment while children can enjoy games and a free craft booth provided by Local First Arizona and Mrs. Tiggy Winkles.
The Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross will receive blood from eligible donors in the mobile blood bank, set up in the Maynards parking lot. All presenting blood donors will have access to the VIP room – located upstairs in the Drawing Room - for refreshments including homemade lemonade and fresh-baked goods from Maynards.
To register to donate blood, sign up at Maynards Market or visit www.redcrossarizona.org. Sponsor Code: Maynards.
