Bestselling Children's Book Authors Read and Sign at Brooklyn Heights Montessori School Book Fair; Hundreds of Book Titles to Buy for Children and Adults; Face Painting, Bookmark Making and Crafts all Day

New York Times best selling author Michael Buckley (NERDS, Sisters Grimm), John Bemelmans Marchiano (Madeline and the Cats of Rome) and author and puppeteer Grace Chang (Jin Jin the Dragon and Jin Jin and Rain Wizard) bring words alive as they read at the Brooklyn Heights Montessori School Book Fair on December 12. The fair, a free, public event, runs from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

For those looking for a good read or out for holiday shopping, hundreds of books titles for adults and children, from best sellers to classics, will also be sold at the fair. In a true spirit of literary celebration, activities related to books will take place throughout the day including bookmark making, book bag decorating, face painting, a bake sale and balloons!

Author reading schedule:
11:00 a.m. GRACE CHANG
12:00 p.m.JOHN BEMELMANS MARCIANO
2:00 p.m. MICHAEL BUCKLEY
Authors will sign their books immediately following their reading.

For children who cannot get enough of read-aloud stories, story readings of beloved children's classics will take place throughout the day.

Visitors to the fair can also participate in ONE BOOK MAKES A DIFFERENCE: Please bring one gently used book or buy a book at the fair to donate to Books for Kids, a program founded in 2004 by the Legal Aid Society's Juvenile Rights Practice to provide free books to children and families who they represent.
