Spring for SPAN 5K Walk/Run Father’s Day June 15, 2008

Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN) presents its Annual 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair at University of Colorado at Boulder, Sunday, June 15.

The event will begin and end Sunday, June 15 at the Duane Physics Lawn. Race registration is at 7:00 am, the 5K Walk/Run begins at 8:00 am with the Awards Ceremony at 10:00 am and the Wellness Fair 8:15-11 am.

Duane Lawn is located on Colorado between 18th and Folsom Streets behind the Physics Lab Building.

The Race/Walk will feature 200 participants who celebrate fathers and families on Father’s Day who take action to end domestic violence.

Participants can raise money by having their family and friends, co-workers, classmates and neighbors sponsors them in the 5K Walk/Run. Prices will be given to top pledge raisers; both individual and team.

The Wellness Fair will feature free massage, chiropractic, reflexology and more.
