21st Century Business Planning Small Business Expo

Meet local business owners who are using the latest techniques to grow their businesses at the 21st Century Business Planning Small Business Expo.

The expo features graduates of the Small Business Development Center’s 21st Century Business Planning workshop and will show how local businesses are using online models and resources to grow their businesses. The 21st Century Business Plan focuses on web-based operations or distribution, online marketing and sales, and virtual and outsourcing components.

Demonstrations will take place throughout the day at the expo. Presenters include: Jack Wicks, a former small business development center (SBDC) director, on holistic business management; Chris Lindstrom of Ceptara.com on process management and lean operations; Stephan McIntosh, co-owner of LuminousCreative.com and developer of the Rocketship content management system for small businesses, on Web site development platforms; Mary Heim of Cimira.com on webinar marketing and management; and Larry Warner of sales-synergies.com demonstrating ACT!, a content and customer relationship management system.

Beverages, hors d’ oeuvres, and no host bar will be available at the expo. Door prizes have been donated by local businesses
