Paying dues as a background vocalist for Kelis,Will Hoge, Algebra Blessett, Divi Baby,Shereefa, Johnny Gill, Gordon Chambers, and others she's also performed in several national tours of theatrical plays such as "The Man of Her Dreams, and "Stranger In My House". Over the past few years Erika Smith has made a steady climb to The Eva Kennedy Project, as we witness the metamorphosis from background singer to star of the show, lets pay thanks to Erika's church choir instructor for it was she who first told her to "OPEN YOUR MOUTH"
