This exhibit tells of Hattiesburg's own, Ruth Bailey Earl. As an African American soldier and African American woman, she stands an icon for their unconquerable spirit. Taking the wheel of an army truck in a convoy along the Red Ball Express supply route, you can experience the danger. The heroic contributions of the Tuskegee Airmen are also celebrated.
