Description
A profound study in the psychology of evil and the Fall of Man;
from Macbeth’s initial condition of innocence and loyalty,
the play traces his descent from the moment of his temptation
to the moment of his death.
Designed as a ritual, this minimalist production's staging and design
is a method of making the production timeless and placeless,
exploring the mythic and symbolic themes of the play through the character of Macbeth,
with the audience transformed into participants rather than mere spectators.
The play will be performed in a stripped-down Chamber version
of 80 minutes with no interval
and with a cast of three performing all roles.
cast: william mann, hayley roberts, christopher lynch
admission: £7/£6
