The 2008 Ypulse National Mashup is the conference that brings together media and marketing professionals from brands, agencies and the non-profit sector to share best practices for reaching today's totally wired youth. Through a mix of case study presentations, panels and keynotes, attendees learn how to harness social media and technology in ways that are authentic, add value – and are not disruptive.

Four preconferences:

• Ypulse Books Publishing Mashup
• Gaming For Tweens and Teens
• Deep Dive: Understanding Tweens & Teens
• Building A Youth Movement.

A sample from the Mashup 2008 Speaker Roster:

Damon Whiteside, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Walt Disney Records
Antti Öhrling, co-founder of Blyk, the new mobile network for 16-24s that’s funded by advertising
Michael Franzini, the Emmy-award winning director, photographer, and youth culture expert
Ian Rowe, who oversees MTV's on-air and off-air "pro-social" campaigns encouraging young people to take action to address issues
Teemu Huuhtanen, President, North America, Sulake(Habbo)

Panel and discussion sessions will cover marketing and media topics related to social networking sites, blogging, online video, podcasting, SMS and cell phones, virtual worlds, instant messaging, video gaming, online music and more.

All Ypulse Mashup conferences also include chance to meet and learn from a panel of Totally Wired Superstars. Listen to some of the most influential young people on the Web today as they share their insights on how youth are using their websites and how these successful young people are reaching their peers.
