Why don't the people on the waitlist create the Mashup Camp Annex, and meet at the hotel, or SocialText's offices, wherever? There are enough cool people there for a great conference in itself.

Mucho Camp:
Ross at Socialtext has proposed that he host something called Mucho Camp (at Socialtext's offices) that runs in parallel to Mashup Camp. It'll be a spill-over camp for developers that want to hack up some mashups but that didn't make it into Mashup Camp. More details on the wiki.

So those of us lucky enough to get in can run an underground railroad to smuggle in MuchoCampers, or maybe just create a mashup of the two camps: MuchMashCamp?
