At the age of 13, Salvadora Galan of Olvera, Spain, won a flamenco singing competition in Utrera. At 17 she started as a professional performer singing in Spain and Portugal. In recent years Salvadora Galan has performed in the U.S. and Mexico and currently resides in El Paso, Texas.
