Sharpcuts Film & Music Festival Screen the Pit and the Pendulum!

SharpCuts is an independent music and film festival based out of Guelph, Ontario. Founded in 2006, Sharpcuts’ primary goal is to provide an opportunity for emerging artists, from both the independent film and music industries, to share their art and their experiences with one another while having a public forum to show/perform their work(s). Through performance, presentation, discussion and collaboration SharpCuts strives to offer as many opportunities to aspiring musicians and filmmakers as possible, all while providing exciting and entertaining new works for our audience.

SharpCuts will offer independent filmmakers and musicians the opportunity to learn about their industries, connect with other independent artists and show/perform their art. The festival will present its audience with as wide a range of subjects and styles as possible while expanding their current knowledge of the film and music industries and the challenges, struggles and effort involved in the independent market. Both the artists and audience members will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the film and music industries through workshops, seminars, screenings, concerts and general interaction within a festival environment.
