Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) Lower Body
Saturday May 22, 2010 - Sunday May 23, 2010
Strides Human Performance Institute
39 Carlon Drive
Northampton, Massachusetts 01060 Get Directions
In this two day workshop we will be focusing on the lower body including the feet. You will review muscle action and function along with AIS principles for clinical stretching. Let’s explore the deepest tissues of the body with precise angles and movements in order to increase the flow of blood and oxygen to over contracted and over stretched tissues. This class is based on Aaron Mattes' 40 years of experience in soft tissue rehabilitation. We will review some self-help stretching as well as strengthening protocol. If working in a clinical environment is your passion then this work could change your approach for ever, it did just that for me over 6 years ago.

This workshop is open to LMT’s and Personal Trainers
16 CEs (NCBTMB)

Taught by: Bruce Baltz, LMT, NCBTMB
