Sixth Annual Health Care Conference

Host: Washington Policy Center. This event is one of the most well-attended health care events in the Northwest, with nearly 300 people participating in the 2007 conference. Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor Premera Blue Cross for helping make the conference possible again this year.
Grace-Marie Turner of the Galen Institute will be the keynote speaker. She is a member of the National Advisory Council of Healthcare Research and Quality and recently served as a member of the President’s Medicaid Commission, charged with making recommendations to modernize and improve Medicaid. Grace-Marie will discuss the presidential candidates’ health care plans.
Other topics include a Legislative Session review and 2009 Preview, a discussion of the Health Insurance Partnership proposal/Connector type programs in other states, Health IT, and Innovations in Health Care.
