The University of St. Thomas Friends of Doherty Library presents Dr. Alexandra Simmons, assistant professor of biology, speak on “What Genomic Disorder Studies Have Taught us About our Genome.” Dr. Simmons will discuss structural and architectural features of our genome, mechanisms that lead to genomic rearrangements and our new understanding about the human genome. Refreshments will be available.
