This exhibition represents the first major U.S. presentation in nearly three decades of the work of Rufino Tamayo (1899-1991), one of the most widely recognized and respected painters of modern Mexico, and includes 100 of the artist's most extraordinary canvases and portable murals created during his prolific seven decade career spent in Mexico City, New York and Paris.
