Crude Awakening Meetup

We are a group of citizens dedicated to educating ourselves and the public about the coming worldwide oil production peak, its timing, potential consequences and the preparations needed to reduce its impact. We share what we learn with the Austin community to encourage appropriate action.

Our main group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. The group is designed to function as a whole, and also supports specific interest groups (personal preparation, and community outreach) for more focused discussions.

Membership is open to the general public and there are no fees. We invite you to join us to learn about this crucial issue.
