The Austin on Rails Happy Hour is designed to get as many Rails developers and enthusiasts in the same room as possible to meet and greet and have a good time. SXSW will be bringing in several Rails folks from around the world, and Austin has a thriving community as well. Let's all have some food and drink together!
The event is open to anyone who is interested in Ruby on Rails. You do not have to be attending SXSW to attend this event.
The organizers of this event are buying the first 100 drinks to help encourage vibrant social interaction (and hopefully bank some serious karma for themselves). We'll have a private room with pool tables and shuffleboard and you should be able to order food.
We look forward to seeing everyone!

I'm completely new to Rails but a former resident of Ann Arbor and greater Detroitia. Perhaps we'll run into each other at the meeting tomorrow.
