Winter Pageant, PG Six, Fence Kitchen
Tuesday February 21, 2006 at 8:00pm
CLOSED: Tonic
107 Norfolk Street
New York City, 10002 Get Directions
Fence Kitchen: "Tim Harbeson, formerly of Cerberus Shoal, uses Fence Kitchen as both alter-ego and vehicle for exploring his interest in multi-disciplinary solo performance. This perpetual work in progress at times involves puppetry and ambient setting and lighting with original music played live and/or as recorded soundtrack, while at other times, is presented as a purely musical performance." Portland Press Herald

P.G. Six: PG Six is the soon to be legendary solo project of Tower Recordings axe-slinger Pat Gubler. His records for Amish have garnered praise from everyone from Thurston Moore to most of the Matador Records staff.

The Winter Pageant: "Waning/Waxing, The Winter Pageant's languid new seven song debut comes on like a late summer reverie - elusive and transient, filled with gorgeous sonic swells and hypnotic flourishes. The band avoids conventional song structure, opting instead to repeat slightly altered musical patterns; the layers build upon themselves like a fractal design filling a computer screen. What's remarkable is the way the sprawling, doleful tunes remain hummable throughout." - Alison Rosen, TimeOut NY
