Getting Bi is a Long Island
social discussion group for
all bisexual, bi-curious, pansexual, fluid, SGL (Same Gender Loving), hetro/homo-flexible and otherwise identified queer people who realize that they
do not seem to
fit into the neat
boxes of Straight, Gay or Lesbian.
Getting Bi provides a safe, positive, inclusive environment for
all Long Islanders to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Aside from regular meetings,
Getting Bi also hosts a variety of fun
social events where members of Long Island's bisexual, bi-curious, pansexual and other bi-inclusive communities can meet one another in a confidential and non-judgmental atmosphere. Meeting topics vary and all are invited and most welcome to participate.
We meet on the
first and
third Monday of the
month from
7:30-9:00 at the
Long Island GLBT Community Center located in Bay Shore Long Island.
