Our first attempt to organize a “Maiwanderung” on May Day was a bit of a flop, but it seems that the weather will be fine this week-end, and nice weather is always good for a walk to Andechs and for some fine beer.

As originally planned, we’ll first meet in front of the Cityfoto store, a few meters from Marienplatz, then take the S-Bahn to Herrsching, walk up to the Andechs monastery, have some excellent beer and food, and return to Munich—and of course take as many photos as we like during the day.

Should the weather be bad despite of the current forecasts, don’t worry—we’ll meet in front of Cityfoto anyway and then decide on an alternative plan.
