Brooklyn natives Wolf + Lamb exploded onto the New York Techno scene with a series of afterparties at their small Williamsburg space for The Bunker party in Spring 2005. These get-togethers evolved into a series of packed regular all-night parties at the W+L space that went well into the next afternoon. Although they have proven to be very talented party throwers, at heart, Wolf + Lamb are merely great selectors who just want to provide the soundtrack to your event. They utilize Ableton Live software to weave gorgeous sets of warm bath techno, ambient, and sleazy house. With a bunch of original studio productions in the works, a bigger loft space to host parties at, a residency at Love, web label to launch, you'll definitely be hearing a lot more from these guys in the future.

Juan Carlos Gaviria is a fixture in the NYC techno scene. Tommie Sunshine can attest to that by saying, "This guy was into Electro when you were listening to Nirvana for the first time. One of the most for real motherfuckers on the block." As an early adopter of the developing genres, the culmination of timing and location definitely played their roles to get Juan into techno. In addition to conducting hundreds of interviews from the top echelon of international DJ's and marquee EDM artists [from now defunkt 5 year program FREQ, PSEUDO], Juan has curated numerous events, large and small. He has toured Europe and Japan [twice] by supporting a menagerie of very recognizable DJ personalities. Currently, Juan is playing a supporting role to Function [Cynosure] and his Infrastructure imprint at the Avalon series entitled Phono. Faced with having to evolve to appease his restless heart and undying passion for this music, Juan is now embarking, ever so carefully; into composing his own sonic repertoire.
