Distances 1.5-mile Swim, 1-mile Run, 13-mile Bike, 10K Run

First, you'll swim the 1.5-mile "Escape" swim course from Alcatraz Island. The next leg of your escape is the 13-mile bike ride. This is a hilly, triple-loop course through the Presidio - starting and finishing at Building 649 at the west end of Crissy Field. The bike course will be closed to car traffic. The final 10K run will take you through Golden Gate National Recreation Area and across Baker Beach.

T-shirt included. Medals to all finishers. Plus, the right to beat your chest and brag, "I Escaped From the Rock."
