An homage to garden whimsy and humor, the summer exhibit and display at Matthaei features dozens of pink flamingo lawn ornaments creatively painted and decorated by U-M art students, Ann Arbor Public School students, and community members. Display also includes lush seasonal plantings throughout the summer, garden art, topiary, whirligigs, education and interpretation, and more. The public is also invited to vote for Best Flamingo in Show through July 15, with a special unveiling of favorite flamingos on July 17. Free.
