You're invited to attend our monthly Chorizo and Menudo breakfast on Saturday, March 3rd. 2006. Our scheduled speakers are Tom Dunning Chairman of the Dallas Citizens Council (One of Dallas most prominent business groups) on the challenges to the Dallas business community and Dallas with the growth of the Latino Community. Also Bill Velasco,Dart Board member, and DART president Gary Thomas on DFW mass transit and employment and contracting opportunities. Newly elected Advisors of Mexicanos abroad, Mario Ramirez and Claudia Torrescano will speak on the new role of this group with Mexico and the role on Mexicanos in the U. S in the upcoming Mexican Presidential Elections.

The breakfast is free to the public and is being hosted by LULAC 102. Our sponsor this month is TXU . Sheriff Lupe Valdez, DISD Superintendent Michael Hinojosa, Dallas police chief David Kunkle, Congressman Pete Sessions and DISD School Trustee Jerome Garza have been previous guests. The Chorizo and Menudo breakfasts are community meetings that bring together civic and elected leaders to discuss issues and meet decision makers.
