A performance piece, Rio de Lagrimas (River of Tears) tells the story of maquiladora workers in Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico. Two historical female figures, La Malinche and La Llorona, are used to exemplify the terrible working conditions and mistreatment of hundreds of women.
A performance by Las Meganenas, a troupe of five Hispanic women storytellers based out of Albuquerque.
