A monthly happy hour for DC Area InfoSec types.

Each year around this time, we're faced with a tough decision. Tons of infosec folks make their way out to Vegas for Black Hat and/or Defcon, leaving those who are not so lucky or flexible in their schedules behind to lick our wounds and think of the parties we are missing. So we are faced with the choice of having CapSec early so we can say a fond farewell to those journeying out, or having it during the con, missing half our crew, and drinking to spite them.

This year, we're going the early route. CapSec DC will be on July 21st. Standard spiel follows:

We'll be meeting some time after Stetson's opens at 5 PM. Doug may not be there right at 5, but you can party on with out him. Hang out if no one's there right away. People will show up, they always do.

If it's not a furnace out, look for us out on the back deck. If that fails, look for us by the jukebox or the front door if upstairs isn't open yet, or upstairs if it is. Some nights we've been rolling down to DC9 as the evening goes on.
