0___, Burmese artist and humanitarian will be the guest at a fun-raiser (do-it-yourself fingerpainted gift cards) and art show at Citizen Space.

0____ does some really beautiful fingerpaint (yup, handmade!) cards - watch, and/or do your own.
Scrumptious Burmese food will be served. Donations requested, (never mandatory) $7-10. Simply come by to show your support of an individual headed to help Burmese cyclone survivors next week.

Although 0____ prefers abstract trumpet blasts of colors and swirls of dancing texture to realism, in order to raise money for his village back home, he'll often dedicate many canvases to meticulous reproductions of the da Vinci's Mona Lisa. The show will juxtapose realism and abstract within the coworking space.

Typically 0____ self-funds his visits to Burma (loaded with medicines, water purifiers, energy drinks and foods, books and educational materials) with his art work sales, but this time he'd only just returned from a 5-week trip in April with $5 in his pocket. Then Cyclone Nargis hit.

Donations accepted (and/or place widget in your blog). 0____ is a personal friend of Evelyn Rodriguez, who live-blogged from the Indian Ocean tsunami.

Great! For those who cannot come to the event, we have made a virtual Facebook event at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=43183660146 on the 22nd. Cool to see that all our efforts together already raised almost $400!
let's get him the $2000 before he goes!
