DFA Boston April Meeting: HIGH CRIMES & MISDEMEANORS
Join Democracy for America: Boston and John Bonifaz, Democratic candidate for Secretary of State, in an open discussion on how the presidency of George W. Bush has affected this country and what we the people can do about it. Will Bush be held accountable for lying to the American people to invade Iraq, for the repeated depredations of civil liberties through abuse of the USA PATRIOT Act and violations of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act? Anything and everything is on the table: Congressional investigations, criminal investigations, legal challenges, censure, impeachment. Come and discuss what you think should be done and learn what you can do.

Mr. Bonifaz, a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Secretary of the Commonwealth, is the founder of the National Voting Rights Institute, and led the legal demand for a full recount of the 2004 Ohio presidential election and the constitutional challenge to Bush?s authority to wage war against Iraq absent a congressional declaration of war. He is the author of Warrior-King: The Case for Impeaching George W. Bush.
