Giles Peterson's Worldwide Festival 2008

Created by the widely acclaimed musical tastemaker himself – Gilles Peterson – Worldwide Festival (WWF) is coming to Singapore after experiencing great success in the UK, France and China. This exclusive Asian edition will be a 3-day musical celebration taking place in 3 different environments. Expect an explosion of cutting edge grooves presented by live acts and DJs from eclectic genres ranging from jazz to hip hop, funk, electronica, dub, techno and everything in between the lines of quality music.

WWF will be one of the first roving festivals to be held here and will take place at 3 different venues – from Friday 16 May 2008 to Sunday 18 May 2008 over the long Vesak Day weekend. Kicking off with a sexy, lush and private club session, WWF will then move to a cutting edge underground setting on the second night before the grand finale builds up to a main headlining concert on the final day.
