Prince Albert’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Two-Spirit Pride Week

June 1 to 7, 2008 has been declared by the Mayor and City Council as “Prince Albert’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Two-Spirit Pride Week”. This year’s theme is “Love Builds a Community”.

Pre-Pride events: To help off-set the costs of the events planned for Pride week, we are holding a Steak Night Fundraiser at Zorba’s Lounge on Sunday, May 25, from 5pm to 8pm. There will be door prizes and 50/50 draws. This event is open to all ages and genders. Youth under the age of 18 are welcome to attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Pride Parade - line-up 11:00am, March at 12:00pm
Rally at Memorial Square at City Hall after the Parade, approximately 1:00pm

Line-up begins at 11:00am at 4th Avenue and River Street West
Parade begins at 12:00pm: Leave from 4th Avenue and River Street West, march East to 1st Avenue West, turn right and march to 13th Street West, turn left and march to Central Avenue, turn left and march down Central ending at City Hall Memorial Square for a Rally.

Pride Dance - 9:00pm to 1:00am at the P.A. Union Centre - (Alcohol Free)
