Adaptive Path will be heading back to Washington D.C. with more sessions and more speakers than ever, including special keynote speakers Steven Johnson, Michael Bierut, and Jeff Veen.

We're developing all new curriculum for this year's User Experience Week. And we're presenting sessions in two tracks that will offer practitioner skills development as well as product management strategy and business value methods.

Day 1, Monday, August 14
Sessions run from 9 am to 5 pm

Day One will offer practical case studies and stories from the "trenches." You will learn how a variety of real-life enterprise website design challenges were resolved. The Management track will feature discussions and methods on product strategy and business value.

Day 3 will dig into field research and offer insights into new challenges presented by the new generation of web applications.

Day 4, Thursday, August 17
Sessions run from 9 am to 1 pm, plus an afternoon field trip

Day 4, a half-day of sessions, is about opening minds and collecting lessons from non-traditional sources. And since mistakes tend to teach us our most memorable lessons, we thought we'd open Adaptive Path's box of mistakes and share what's inside. The day will conclude with a field trip in the afternoon.

Thursday sessions include:

* Communicating Concepts through Comics
* Information Visualization
* Closing Plenary: "Learning from Adaptive Path's Mistakes" Panel, hosted by Lane Becker
And of course, UX Week will provide lots of opportunity to network with an international group of user experience professionals.
